2019 UMAMU Sparkling MacAnn - Made in the traditional method with fifteen months on lees. We name this MacAnn after our founders Mac & Ann who discovered Margaret River in the early 80s and fell in love with our vineyard in 1997. Made with Sémillon and a touch of Sauvignon Blanc, the wine is utter perfection, with delicious layers on the pallet of freshly harvested snow pea, crisp green apple and finishing with toasted cashew notes at the end of the palate. Perfect for anytime but especially during the festive season and for celebrating life!
2016 UMAMU Sauvignon Blanc Semillon - We call this our versatile wine, goes with all types of cuisine. "Light yellow colour with a herbal, snowpea and slightly tom-catty grassy/thiol character. There are also nutty barrel and toasty bottle-age characteristics. The wine is rich and intense and really fills the mouth. It's soft, round and ample. The vegetal notes are turning into honey already. A wine with plenty of appeal." 91 points Huon Hooke Drink till 2024.
2016 UMAMU Chardonnay - Chardonnay is what brought our founders to Margaret River in the early eighties. "The chardonnays from UMAMU have quite a strong house style. It's based on quality fruit given a decent working over in the winery. This is a combination of one fruit and struck match, with butterscotch and grapefruit complexity. Extends to a long, savoury finish. Impressive wine." 93 points Ray Jordan.
"Bright and still youthful in its colour. The nose gives up lemon curd, shortcrust pastry and honeycomb notes. It fills the mouth with classic Margaret River exuberance and power. Lots to see, white and yellow peaches, honeycomb, roast cashews with a hint of smoky dried herbs. Good length and drive." 90 points Huon Hooke Drink 2020-2030.
2018 UMAMU Rose - This wine is inspired for all who touch our lives. Produced from our 0.4ha parcel of Cabernet Franc planted in 2001 with a top up of Merlot planted in 1997. @the3winesmen “Ahhh this is a wine drinkers wine. No BS to be seen. Just a fantastic ‘no brainer’ of a wine. As the label says “Balance and Contentment”. Is there anything more you want in life, let alone your wine? Just when you thought Rosé couldn’t be sophisticated, UMAMU stepped up to the plate and hit a home run.”
2011 UMAMU Ann's Cabernet Sauvignon - This wine is named after Ann who loved this variety. Vivid garnet in appearance with a nose of intense dark fruits coming though. The palate is rich with powerful dark fruits and soft integrated tannins. Good length and delicious layers of complexity.

2014 UMAMU Cane Cut - Ann, always wanted us to produce a sweet wine to blind taste with d’Yquem... "Deep golden colour. The bouquet is sharp-edged lemon and orange citrus fruit embellished with toffee, vanilla and crème brûlée, the palate rich and sweet and loaded with honey and toffee-like flavours. Poached peach and stewed apricot, too. A gorgeous Barsac style." Huon Hooke Drink till 2023.
