"This is a Bordeaux-style blend of Margaret River cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc. The colour is deep and tinted with both brick-red and purple, the bouquet strongly briary with lovely high notes of rose-petal, rose-bush and mint. It’s intense and full-bodied but also exceedingly elegant, and is already drinking beautifully. Smooth, fine-grained tannins and excellent balance." Drink till 2031.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Deep red with ruby hues.

Nose: Ripe berry fruits and dark plums framed by toasty oak.

Palate: Packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, blackberries and chocolate characters. Full-bodied, plush and supported by moreish, supple tannins. A generous, well balanced wine, with a warm lingering finish.

2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (Gold Medal – Wine Showcase 2024)

  • Appearance: Deep red with a ruby hue.
  • Nose: Ripe blackcurrants and plums complemented by mocha oak characters, with hints of choc mint and bay leaf.
  • Palate: Medium-bodied with blackberries, dark chocolate, and cassis. Pristine fruit and fine ripe tannins combine to produce a complete wine, with elegant structure and wonderful persistence of flavour.

2015 Museum Cabernet Sauvignon (96 Points – James Halliday)

  • Appearance: Deep red garnet.
  • Nose: Leafy, with plum and mulberry.
